I am an attorney at Fiedler Law Firm, P.L.C., where we specialize in representing workers in employment law cases. I have extensive experience experience handling discrimination, harassment, retaliation, OSHA retaliation claims, Sarbanes Oxley retaliation claims, and SEC whistleblower claims. I also advise workers on employment contracts and issues and help them negotiate severance and other agreements. I have been a trial lawyer and litigator for almost 20 years.
After law school, I added a Master’s degree in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution and then an MBA. During my teaching career, I taught more than a thousand students and fellow attorneys how to litigate in the courtroom and negotiate in the boardroom. I have worked for and represented businesses and understand how they assess situations and make decisions. That unique combination of experiences and skills helps me resolve cases on very favorable terms when possible and litigate cases effectively for my clients when necessary.
My legal career has been focused on complex civil and commercial litigation and issues related to liability, risk management, business management, corporate governance, employment law, and litigation. I have been rated by my peers as AV-Preeminent since 2012.
I am also an expert on artificial intelligence and algorithmic bias, which I have published on extensively, and regularly present on at academic conferences, CLEs, and regional and national legal conferences. More and more employment-related decisions are being made by algorithms. When those decisions are inaccurate, unfair, and violate the law, they will need to be challenged.
